Hello, my name is Nigel. I have worked in the construction industry for many years. One of the hardest things about working on a large construction job is knowing if you should buy or hire the heavy construction equipment you require to complete the build. When I first entered the trade, I would hire every bit of kit, as I didn't have enough money to buy and maintain my own equipment. However, as I became more established, I decided to start buying key bits of equipment I knew I would use on every job. I am ready to retire now, so I thought I would start a blog to pass on my wisdom to the next generation.
